It is important to be prepared for future, unforeseen events to prevent flood damage in your home and/or business establishment.
Flood Prevention Tips:
Tip #1: If you have had water coming out of your basement drains, it is recommended to get a Back Water Valve installed.
Tip #2: Check to see when your Sump Pump was replaced as it usually only carries a 3 year warranty. Changing your Sump Pump is much more cost effective and efficient vs. the potential restorations costs due to flood damage.
Tip #3: A Battery Back Up or Secondary Sump pumps have been very common due to potential power outages. This will assure your pump keeps running without power or it will atleast buy you time in a state of an emergency.
